The Fèlix Serratosa Conference started 18 years ago as an homenage to Professor Fèlix Serratosa, one of the leading researchers in organic chemistry in Spain who was an inspiration for a whole generation of Spanish chemists at Universidad de Barcelona and Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona.
This lecture series counts with different talks given both in Barcelona and at the Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ).
This year, in its 18th edition, Professor David Spring from the University of Cambridge (United Kingdom) has been in charge of closing the series of talks with a seminar entitled ‘The Search for New Antibacterials: Using Diversity Oriented Synthesis’.
