Dr. Moreshwar Chaudhari, postdoctoral researcher in the Pericàs group, has won one of the three outstanding poster presentations awards at the 8th Conference on Frontiers in Organic Synthesis Technology (FROST 8), organized by the Flow Chemistry Society and held in Budapest from the 24th until the 26th of November 2021. The winning poster presentation, entitled “Supported Jørgensen-Hayashi catalyst for asymmetric Michael addition in batch/flow: Diastereoselective synthesis of alkaloids in flow,” is part of the work Dr. Chaudhari is carrying out for his Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowship (MSCA-IF) grant. The award is sponsored by the Reaction Chemistry & Engineering Division of the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) and includes e-certificates, a £100 book voucher and a year’s subscription to Reaction Chemistry & Engineering.
