The Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV) has awarded Dr. Morgane Gaydou with the Premi Extraordinari de Doctorat for her thesis entitled “Gold(I)-Catalyzed Cyclizations and Enantioselective Total Synthesis of (+)-Schisanwilsonene A.” She defended her thesis on October 14th, 2015 at the ICIQ auditorium.

Morgane carried out her PhD thesis under the supervision of Prof. Antonio M. Echavarren and she is now a postdoctoral researcher in Prof. Rubén Martín’s group at ICIQ.
