Andreu Tortajada, Master student in Prof. Martin group, has been selected finalist of the SusChem award Futura – Mestrelab. With this awards, SusChem aims to recognise the best academic records in the field of chemistry.
Andreu’s research focuses in the nickel-catalyzed carboxylation of π systems with carbon dioxide. In particular, the aim of the project is to develop the double carboxylation of 1,3-dienes, what would allow the introduction of two CO2 molecules into a single organic molecule.
