Alejandro Díaz, Postdoctoral Researcher in Prof. P. Ballester group, has received the Calix 2015 Poster Award for his poster entitled ‘Photo-responsive Dimeric Capsules Assembled from Tetraurea Calix[4]arenes and Tetraurea Calix[4]pyrroles’.

The poster -that also was selected for a flash communication- illustrates the studies performed on the light-controlled capture and release of polar molecules by tetraureido calix[4]arene and tetraureido calix[4]pyrrole supramolecular capsules.

The 13th International Conference on Calixarenes Calix 2015 took place on July (5-9) in Giardini Naxos (Italy).
