Sigma-Aldrich, in collaboration with the ICIQ, has organized a Minisymposium in Organometallic Chemistry on November 6 at the ICIQ Auditorium.At this meeting, the following speakers presented key lectures on contemporary aspects of organometallic chemistry: Prof. Miguel Yus (Universidad de Alicante, Spain) on active transition metals in synthesis, Prof. Carmen Nájera (Universidad de Alicante, Spain) on oxime-derived palladacycles in catalysis, and Prof. Akira Suzuki (Prof. Emeritus Hokkaido University, Sapporo, Japan) on cross coupling reactions of organoboron compounds (Suzuki couplings).
