9.- Procurement
The Catalan Institute of Chemical Research Foundation (ICIQ) is established as a public foundation, has its own legal personality, and is governed by the statements contained in its founding charter, the legal provisions applicable to it, the statutes, and the agreements adopted by the Board of Trustees in the exercise of its functions.
ICIQ is a public sector foundation and a contracting authority, which makes it subject to Law 9/2017, of November 8, on Public Sector Contracts, which transposes the European Parliament and Council Directives 2014/23/EU and 2014/24/EU of February 26, 2014, into the Spanish legal system, as well as the Additional Provision fifty-fourth of Law 6/2018, of July 3, on the General State Budget for 2018, and the legislation applicable to a public sector foundation of the Generalitat of Catalonia with the status of CERCA center.
In all cases, the procurement procedures ensure compliance with the principles of transparency, publicity, competition, confidentiality, equality, and non-discrimination.
To comply with the principle of publicity, all procurement procedures are published on the ICIQ Contracting Profile through the Public Procurement Services Electronic Platform.
10.- Agreements
ICIQ establishes collaboration agreements with other research entities (universities and research centers) and other organizations with the aim of enhancing the research activities of the center. The active agreements are listed in the following document.
