ICIQ’s Objective and Policies
The ICIQ aims to identify and promote research and innovation in the field of chemical sciences, fostering close interaction between basic research, applied research, and the market to achieve excellence in these areas and become a global reference center.
ICIQ has several policies to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with the highest ethical standards.
As a CERCA center (Research Centers of Catalonia), ICIQ adheres to the CERCA Code of Conduct, which can be consulted in full here. The CERCA Institution (I-CERCA) is the coordinating and supporting entity for the CERCA centers, created by the Government of Catalonia and the Catalan Association of Research Entities (ACER). Each member center of I-CERCA must comply with the CERCA Code of Conduct. This Code provides guarantees for good management in aspects such as transparency, industrial property management, and scientific integrity, among others.
