Director

The Director of the ICIQ is appointed by the Board of Trustees and is the chief executive officer of the ICIQ. He defines the strategy and research lines of the center and, together with the Scientific Advisory Board, is responsible for the selection and periodic evaluation of the principal investigators. He is also responsible for ICIQ’s institutional relations. Since 2020, Professor Emilio J. Palomares Gil holds this position.
