Research in Pre-Clinical Drug Discovery

Abstract

In this presentation, Professor Loza will provide a comprehensive overview of the origins of drug discovery and its societal contributions. She will also offer practical examples to illustrate the various stages of the discovery process. In addition, she will provide a presentation on the current situation and challenges in Spain, as well as an overview of the various ongoing initiatives aimed at overcoming these challenges and accelerating drug discovery for the efficient arrival of new therapies to patients.
