Melchiorre's paper stands out

A paper published by Prof. P. Melchiorre research group in Chemical Science ranks 3rd position in the top 25 most downloaded articles from April-June 2014.

The paper, that was also highlighted in Synfacts, describes the first asymmetric catalytic alkylation of unmodified ketones with alkyl halides. The metal-free approach provides a rare example of highly enantioselective photochemical catalytic processes.
