María Martín Lopez

PhD Student

She studied Chemistry at the University of Granada where her Dissertation focused on synthesizing teragnostic system models for bone tissues from bisfosfonates and dansyl chloride derivatives via CuAAC. Then, she did a 7-months internship at the University of Paris where she participated in a project called oxidative ring expansion of cyclobutanones to access functionalized 1,2-dioxanes. Finally, she did a Master in Organic Chemistry at the University of Valencia, and her Master’s Thesis consisted of the development of a methodology for the functionalization of 3,4-Dihydroquinoxaline-2(1H)-ones with trifluoromethyl ketones by photoredox catalysis.
