Alexandros holds a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from the Department of Chemistry, University of Ioannina, Greece. His thesis focused on the synthesis, characterization and utility of inorganic low-dimensional materials, in the development of electrochemical sensors. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Chemistry and Technology of Materials and a Diploma in Materials Science and Engineering, both from the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, at the University of Ioannina. he has also worked as a doctoral and post-doctoral researcher in two European Scientific programmes at the University of Ioannina. His main research interests are: 2D nanomaterial-based biosensors, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, and electrochemical characterization of novel transducing materials.
