ICIQ is dedicated to advancing sustainable chemistry while emphasizing the importance of training future generations. Under the leadership of Director Emilio Palomares, an agreement has been signed with the mayor of La Canonja, Roc Muñoz, to launch the Green, Educational, and Scientific Project.

This collaboration consists of two key components:

• First, it supports a predoctoral researcher from ICIQ who will undertake a green chemistry project.
• Second, it involves outreach initiatives to educate the residents of La Canonja about green chemistry.
  • The project aims to foster scientific interest from a young age, encourage the use of the scientific method, and promote scientific literacy among students of all levels.
  • Outreach activities are also conducted during La Canonja Science Week.
