On Friday 26th September Anna Homs, a PhD student from Professor Echavarren’s group, received one of the three Lilly awards for outstanding doctoral students for her work on mechanistic studies of Au(I)-catalyzed reactions and on the synthesis of biologically active natural product.
With these awards, Lilly wants to recognize research excellence and the link between the academic field and the pharmaceutical industry.
