Elaboració de sabó

Objectiu: L’objectiu d’aquesta pràctica és elaborar sabó amb olis usats i sosa càustica

    Batedora de mà

    Una cullera de plàstic

    NaOH, 28 g

    Oli, 200 ml

    Aigua, 64 ml

    Quin tipus de reacció ha tingut lloc? Escriu-ho.

    Es podrien utilitzar altres olis? Quins?

    Aquesta reacció funciona amb alguna base? Funcionaria amb NH3?

Procediment

  • Prepareu la solució d’hidròxid de sodi en aigua: deixeu-la reposar i refredar durant uns 15 minuts.
  • Afegiu l’oli i remeneu amb la mà o amb la batedora (començant a baixa velocitat). S’ha de remenar fins que aconseguim una traça d’estructura (quan la mescla deixa una marca quan passem la cullera o la batedora, uns 20 minuts).
  • Afegiu els olis essencials o colorants.
  • Aboqueu la mescla homogènia en motlles i deixeu-la reposar en un lloc fresc. Espereu 2 setmanes, després desemmotlleu i talleu si cal.
