High-sensitivity photodetectors can be obtained with solution-processing methods using benign solvents and can be printed in large areas at room temperature, as reported by Caironi and co-workers in this issue of Chem. The novel use of a mesoporous perovskite/C 61-PCBM interface extraordinarily enhances the material photoconductivity.
