Redox Catalysis for Artificial Photosynthesis

Guest Editors Xavier Sala and Antoni Llobet emphasize the central role of preparing good redox catalysts for water oxidation (WO) and hydrogen evolution (HE), as well as designing robust and efficient photoelectrochemical cells (PEC), in generating solar fuels as clean and renewable energy alternatives. They present an overview of the reports in this Special Issue dealing with these challenges.
