Intramolecular carbostannylation of alkynes catalyzed by silver(I)
The intramolecular carbostannylation of alkynes catalyzed by silver(I) stereoselectively gives E-alkenylstannanes as single isomers (see scheme, Z=C(CO2Me)2, C(SO2Ph)2, C(CH2OR)2). The mechanism of the reaction appears to be similar to that of the reaction of enynes with other electrophilic transition-metal complexes.
