Poly(9,9-di-n-octylfluorene-alt-benzothiadiazole) (F8BT) nanopillars were fabricated using the template wetting method. In order to obtain nanostructures, self-ordered nanoporous alumina has been employed as template. Environmental scanning electron microscopy (ESEM) images reveal that the resulting F8BT structures present diameters ∼225 nm and heights ∼500 nm. The influence of the template and the solvent in the photophysical properties of the F8BT structures have been studied by UV-Vis absorption, photoluminescence and Raman spectroscopy. These polymer structures have a wide range of potential applications due to its optical and electrical properties.
