Efficient Macrocyclisation of Preorganized Palindromic Oligosquaramides
Hydrogen-bonding interactions drive oligosquaramides of different lengths to fold into hairpin-like structures both in nonprotic and protic solvents. These compounds are useful preorganized precursors in macrocyclization reactions.
