Grant description

The PTA program supports the hiring of technical staff to strengthen research and innovation capacities in research institutions.

These grants aim to support the recruitment of technical support staff for research, development, and innovation activities in research organizations. The roles focus on the operation and maintenance of scientific and technological equipment, facilities, and infrastructures. 

The program encourages the development of technical skills in areas such as research support, knowledge transfer, digitalization, science communication, and public-private collaboration. Contracts are awarded for a period of three years. 

Funded by the Ministry of Science, Innovation, and Universities (MCIU) and the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+). Managed by the Spanish National Research Agency (AEI).
