ICIQ's PhD students awarded

21st July 2014 – Two ICIQ’s PhD students have been awarded for the excellent work done during their master studies with the Premi Extraordinari de final d’Estudis del màster universitari.

Ruth Dorel, PhD student under the supervision of Prof. A. M. Echavarren, has been awarded with the “Premi Extraordinari de Final d’Estudis del màster universitari en Síntesis i Catàlisi”.

She is now at University of Michigan, where she is doing a ten-week placement in the group of Prof. Montgomery.

Alba Matas, PhD student in Prof. E. Palomares‘ group, has been awarded with the “Premi Extraordinari de Final d’Estudis del màster universitari en Tecnologies per Nanosistemes, Bioenginyeria i Energia”.

Alba is now at University of Greifswald, Nanostructure Group – ZIK HIKE, for a four-month stay under the supervision of Prof. Mihaela Delcea.
