Abstract:

In this PhD thesis, different methodologies have been used for the synthesis of different small molecules bearing interesting scaffolds for research. Specifically, a Cu-free 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition reaction was developed using t-BuOH/H2O under microwave irradiation for the synthesis of triazoles fused to seven membered rings. Additionally, we have implemented a catalytic functionalization of unstrained C–C bonds of 1,2-amino acids, resulting in a formal b-arylation of aldehydic counterparts.
