Commitment to teacher training

ICIQ collaborates with the Education Department from the Generalitat de Catalunya with a course that is part of the selection of optional training courses for high school teachers. The course, “Methods of analysis of organic compounds,” is organised by Dr. Gisela Colet, manager of ICIQ’s research support area, with the support of unit managers and technicians from this area: Dr. Gabriel González, Dr. Jordi Benet-Buchholz, Simona Curreli, Dr. Fernando Bozoglian, Vanessa Martínez y Sofía Arnal.
The course consists of 5 theoretical and practical sessions that address the following techniques: Mass Spectrometry, Gas and Liquid Chromatography, Nuclear Magnetic Resonance, Spectroscopy and X-ray Diffraction. A total of seven teachers are attending this course, which takes place on January 13th, 15th, 20th, 22nd and 27th at the ICIQ’s facilities.
