The scientific production of The Asia-Pacific region, and more specifically the chemistry production, has grown exponentially in recent years. This region has become the dominant producer of research papers in chemistry.
In the last decade (2000-2010) some 43% of the papers published in the international influential journals in the field of chemistry comes from this continent.
Next week, two of our researchers, Paolo Melchiorre and Anton Vidal, will disseminate their research in China and Japan.
Paolo Melchiorre starts tomorrow, at Peking University, Beijing, a tour around several Chinese Universities. His tour will continue next week with a series of talks in West China School of Pharmacy, Sichuan University, East China Normal University, Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry, Fudan University and it will finish next Friday 18th May at Suzhou University in Jiangsu.
Anton Vidal and his chemistry have also traveled to the Asian continent to begin his tour on Sunday.
Anton will start his visit attending WCCAS 2012 Congress in Beijing. From there, he will fly to Japan to visit University of Tokyo, Kyoto University and Tokyo Institute of Technology to talk about highly modular P-OP ligands in asymmetric hydrogenation.
Busy schedules for our researchers who have been invited by different professors from Asia to share their knowledge, exchange ideas and learn more about the research that takes place at ICIQ.
We hope you enjoy your travels and we look forward to hearing about it.
