Two ICIQ papers published by the groups of Paolo Melchiorre and Carles Bo in the Journal of the American Chemical Society and Antonio Echavarren’s team in Angewandte Chemie International Edition have been highlighted in Synfacts Issue 8.
Melchiorre and Bo’s paper describes a stereochemical model for Cinchona-Derived Primary Amine Catalysts through a combination of experimental and theoretical mechanistic studies.
