Supracat Conference

The first ICREA+ICIQ Conference on Supramolecular Approaches to Catalysis (SUPRACAT) was held at the conference facilities of the hotel AC Miramar, Barcelona from March 2nd to March 5th 2008, with Drs. Anton Vidal and Pau Ballester as Conference Chairmen.The conference theme was supramolecular catalysis; however, a wider perspectives was taken, with areas such as supramolecular assemblies and nanostructures, molecular recognition, receptor design and others as topics for the oral and poster presentations
The conference represented an exceptional opportunity to bring together leading internationally recognized researchers in the field in a high level programe to discuss the development of these novel supramolecular catalysts and identify future directions for this exciting area of research.
