Verónica López-Carrillo, PhD student under the supervision of Prof. Antonio M. Echavarren, defended her PhD Thesis entitled Mastering the Reactivity of Gold(I) Carbenes (assigned to the Analytical Chemistry and Organic Chemistry Department of the Universitat Rovira i Virgili) publicly at the ICIQ auditorium.The members of her evaluation committee were: Prof. Ernesto Carmona (Universidad de Sevilla), Prof. José Luis Mascareñas (Universidad de Santiago), Prof. Carmen Claver (URV), Dr. Rubén Martín (ICIQ) and Dr. Paul Davies (University of Birmingham).
