Mihai Raducan, PhD student under the supervision of Prof. Antonio M. Echavarren, defended his PhD Thesis entitled New Gold(I) Alkynophilic Catalysts (assigned to the Analytical Chemistry and Organic Chemistry Department of the Universitat Rovira i Virgili) publicly at the ICIQ auditorium.The members of his evaluation committee were: Prof. Miquel à. Pericàs (ICIQ), Prof. Sergio Castillón (URV), Prof. Ana Carmen Albéniz (Universidad de Valladolid), Prof. Beatriz Royo (Universidade Nova de Lisboa) and Prof. Vincent Gandon (Université Paris Sud11).
