C. Rogelio Solorio, PhD student under the supervision of Prof. Antonio M. Echavarren, defended his PhD Thesis entitled Development of Gold(I)-Catalyzed Retro-Cyclopropanation and Trindane-Based Approach Toward C60 (assigned to the Analytical Chemistry and Organic Chemistry Department of the Universitat Rovira i Virgili) publicly on October 27th at the ICIQ auditorium.The members of his evaluation committee were: Prof. Rubén Martín (ICIQ), Prof. Yolanda Díaz (URV), Prof. Pedro J. Pérez (Universidad de Huelva), Prof. Belén Martín-Matute (Stockholm University) and Prof. Dolores Pérez (Universidad de Santiago de Compostela).
