Ana Escribano, PhD student under the supervision of Prof. Antonio M. Echavarren, defended her PhD Thesis entitled New Gold-Catalyzed Reactions and Applications for the Synthesis of Alkaloids (assigned to the Analytical Chemistry and Organic Chemistry Department of the Universitat Rovira i Virgili) publicly on February 2nd at the ICIQ auditorium.The members of his evaluation committee were: Prof. Josep Bonjoch (Universitat de Barcelona), Prof. Gwilherm Evano (Université Libre de Bruxelles) and Prof. Kilian Muñiz (ICIQ).
