Dr. Scharnagel wins City of Bayreuth award
15th noviembre 2018 – Dr. Dagmar Scharnagel, a postdoctoral researcher at the Echavarren Group, has been awarded the City of Bayreuth prize. On Friday 9th of November during a formal dinner, also known as “President’s dinner,” the mayor of Bayreuth recognised the work of three candidates of the Bayreuth University for their excellent thesis.
During the ceremony, Dr. Scharnagel was honoured for her thesis entitled “Chiral, rigid diamines – from ligands to bispidine alkaloids.” “This prize means a lot to me as it recognises the work I did during my thesis,” concludes Scharnagel.
