ICIQ reaches Hirsh index=100
12th octubre 2015 – Congratulations to the entire ICIQ community! One hundred ICIQ publications have been cited at least one hundred times. The h=100 has been achieved with the 100th citation of the paper “Efficient carbonate synthesis under mild conditions through cycloaddition of carbon dioxide to oxiranes using a Zn(salphen) catalyst” by the Kleij group.
With Kleij et al. paper being cited 100 times, the Institute of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ) achieves a h index = 100 in eleven years of research activity.
The Hirsh index (h-index) mesures both the productivity and impact of a scientist, a scholarly journal or an institution. It is intended to measure simultaneously the quality and quantity of scientific output.
