Poster award to Dr. Fedor Miloserdov

Dr. Fedor Miloserdov, postdoctoral researcher in Professor Echavarren’s group, received the Asian Journal of Organic Chemistry poster prize at the Asian-European Symposium on Metal-Mediated Efficient Organic Synthesis (9thAES, Stockholm, September 4-7) for his poster entitled ‘Total Synthesis of Grandilodine C.’
The poster was about the total synthesis of racemic Grandilodine C. A highly efficient total synthesis of racemic grandilodine C was achieved in 13 steps and 13% overall yield.
