Abstract
Over the last few years, our group has been developing new polyfunctional ligands for transition metals. We are interested in original metal / ligand interactions, in new reactivity patterns and in catalytic applications.
This presentation will summarize our last results in two different projects:
- Palladium pincer complexes: from unusual indenediide coordination to cooperative catalysis,
- Gold complexes: from transition metal reactivities to new catalytic applications.
In both cases, special attention has been paid to the role of the ligand and mechanistic investigations have been carried out. These studies combining experiment and theory will be presented.
