Abstract
In my continuous efforts to broaden the scope of enantioselective catalysis by chiral phosphoric acids, I have focused on the development of enantioselective nucleophilic substitution reaction, instead of the common nucleophilic addition reactions. Enantio-convergent substitution reaction and parallel kinetic resolution of racemic substrates are introduced in my presentation. In addition, the development of chiral uncharged organosuperbase catalyst, a pseudo C2-symmetric bis(guanidino)iminophosphorane, is demonstrated to expand the scope of pro-nucleophiles in organocatalytic approaches.
